My experience with Sweet Pea Doula was nothing short of amazing! Bailey has so much knowledge and experience with all things baby-whether it was during my pregnancy, labor/delivery, or postpartum, she has been there for me through it all with any questions I have had. Despite my difficult labor and delivery experience, Bailey was there by my side to reassure me with confidence, make me as comfortable as I could be, and helped share some laughs and memories along the way.

I had an amazing birth experience with Sweet Pea Doula, Michelle and Rayni trusted that I knew my body and they kept me informed of all my options at all times. Both of them supported me through all my decisions and made sure I got everything I wanted and needed. They helped my boyfriend and mom know what to do and how to help me. I could not imagine giving birth without them.

Bailey with Sweet Pea Doula is AMAZING to work with! We had a 34 hour labor and delivery and she was with us the entire time. From sleeping on a couch to helping me through getting an IV put in (I hate needles and have sucky veins) she never once complained or made it seem like a task she didn't want to do. Without her there I can say me and my husband would have a a much harder time making it through everything. She did a wonderful job coaching both me and my husband through contractions and preparing us for whatever the next step was. I can say with 100% confidence that when/if we have another kid, I want Bailey by my side!

Where do I even begin? I am so glad that I found SweetPea Doula Services by Bailey because it was a GOD SEND, hands down one of the best experiences I have had.

My husband and I had a doula before and we liked the experience but since I had known Bailey through other endeavors, I knew she had to be our doula when we had baby #2! She was super communicative from the start, had guides to help us, a wonderful brochure that explained packages and she LIVED UP TO THE PACKAGE!

Let me tell you! Even up to the spontaneous induction, she was there within 2 hours (travel to DSM) and was there throughout the whole process. She definitely voiced my opinions to the staff, helped me get up and walk to progress and made sure that my wishes were granted when it came time to push. She was super encouraging through the birthing process and I don't know what I would have done without her or the staff at Broadlawns where I delivered.

I couldn't receommend Bailey and her doula services ENOUGH! I seriously tell everyone about her and that they won't regret hiring her. I definitely don't. Plus, even though I am 2 months PP now, she still checks in and makes sure we are doing well. AND she even came over to check on us about 2 weeks postpartum too. All in all, the experience was a 100000000000/10 and I couldn't recommend her more. She is a blessing and definitley has found her calling. So blessed to have had her there for the birth of our daughter! HIRE HER! You' regret it at all!

Michelle was our doula for the birth of our first child and daughter! Leading up to birth she was always available to answer questions if I had any. I felt very heard, informed, and supported through the whole process of making my birth plan as well. I loved that we were able to do some birthing classes with her. I wasn’t very nervous going into birth because I knew I had great support. During labor/birth she did amazing at learning my silent cues and giving my support in many different ways! Whether it was getting me my water bottle, skipping a song in my playlist because I didn’t like it anymore, rubbing my back, reminding me to breath, or squeezing my hips! She did it all! Hubby liked her to because he got to catch a quick nap during labor:) she also checked in with me postpartum to make sure i was doing well and adjusting!  I am so glad we decided to get a doula and that we found Michelle! I got to have the birth I prayed for, and she helped me achieve that!  Thank you, Michelle, for your amazing help and support along the journey to meeting our little sweet pea! 

When my husband and I found out we were pregnant and were making decisions on what we wanted our birth to look like, we had no doubt that we wanted a doula and Michelle was such a God send to us! She walked us through all the fears and doubts and questions we had about the whole labor and delivery process and helped us be able to be prepared in the best way when labor came. Having her help, us come up with the birth plan we wanted and the way she helped us visualize it really helped us feel calm when it was time for everything to happen. Michelle was there for us through every part of the labor and birth process and her calm presence and support were just what we needed. Her words of positive affirmation got me through the hardest parts of labor, and I honestly couldn’t have done it without her! Our home birth was the birth of my dreams thanks to her amazing support. She helped me through all the different positions to help labor progress and helped tremendously with applying counter pressure! She was also such a great support to my husband too in helping him know what to do and how to best be there for me and also stepping in whenever he needed a break. She was such an amazing support thru postpartum, and we couldn’t have been more blessed to have her go through this journey with us!! We highly recommend having Michelle as your doula!!
