Her training in spinning babies ensures that she will keep mamas moving during labor, whether unmedicated or medicated! Abigail’s passion for birth began at a young age. She attended a home birth when she was 14 and fell in love with supporting moms and their families during the birth process. Abigail went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in nursing, serve in a birth clinic in the Philippines, and work as a labor and delivery nurse before having her son.
She is deeply committed to supporting and empowering women as they embrace what their bodies were physiologically designed to do. It is important to her that mothers are informed and equipped to make decisions surrounding their birth experiences. Birthing both our babies at home just 13 months apart is what drew me into the miraculous world of pregnancy, birth, and especially, the postpartum period. I feel the postpartum phase is a unique, sacred time for transformation and is often overlooked in our modern day society. Meet Ashleigh, a mama of 2 little boys, a photographer, & birth doula! She is from Arkansas but now resides in the beautiful state of Nebraska. She has been a photographer for 6 years and recently became doula certified last August (2023). Her love for photography started at a very young age and grew when her and her husband were stationed overseas & she fell in love with all things birth after her second son made a swift entrance into the world, at home, in 2022! She also loves Jesus, coffee, and meeting new people! She can't wait to help you achieve the birth experience you want!
